Startup rents small houses and cottages in isolated and secret areas

Belgian company Slow Cabins rents small houses and cottages in places far from everything.

A cottage close to nature sometimes is all we need. No cars, no people, a refuge…

This is the service Slow Cabins offers: a cozy house far from everything, to rest and take time from real life. But you only discover where this refuge is at the time of making the reservation.

The company has houses for rent all across Belgium with three basic options: a small chalet for two, a family chalet that can accommodate up to 5 people, and even a meeting place called Time to Focus, which may even offer internet. The three types of reserve are for solar powered homes, with water collection system, toilet and balcony.

The cabins are mobile and Slow Cabins itself chooses the place – the company, which started operating at the end of 2017, ensures that, from time to time, the location of the cottages changes and will soon have services in other European countries. In addition, the service comes with an extra: the possibility of making a trip without having to plan anything.
