Bamboo resort in Mexico is a dream for those who love nature
This hotel made of bamboo is an eco resort powered by solar energy in a mexican paradise called Acapulco.
The exclusive eco resort has 12 rooms with sea view and is also a yoga retreat. The Playa Viva is located in the north of Acapulco, made of sustainable materials and fueled by solar energy. The bamboo suites or “tree houses” appear to be part of the surrounding landscape and are built two meters above the ground so that guests have the feeling of coziness while interacting with nature.
The accomodation has 213 square meters, a bedroom, a living room and a bathroom. It was designed to have no environmental impact: the energy used for both electricity and water heating is of solar origin. Natural ventilation is maximized, allowing passive cooling.
